EUPPA is the European Potato Processors' Association, which has been created in 1962 as the 'Union Européenne des Industries Transformatrices de la Pomme de Terre (UEITP)'.
In 2010 new statutes of an international non profit association according to Belgian law have been introduced and 'UEITP' has become 'EUPPA'.
EUPPA is representing the most important European potato processing countries : Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
EUPPA is also a member of CIAA, the European food industry association.
Via FNK, the organisation for research in the potato sector which is based in the Netherlands, EUPPA is also investing in research projects related to the potato processing industry.
